RETURN POLICY AND SHIPPING LIABILITIES
Thank you for shopping with Vortex Metal Fabrication. We are committed to providing the best customer experience possible. In the event that you need to return a product, please review our return policy, including shipping liabilities, outlined below:
Returns and Exchanges:
1.1. Eligibility: You may initiate a return or exchange within 14 days from the date of delivery for eligible products. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
1.2. Non-eligible items: The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
Copper products, of any kind, but not limited to pre fabricated metal, screens, hoods, dormers, cupolos, chimney caps, rivets, or flat stock.
Return Process:
2.1. Initiation: To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer support team or contact your direct correspondent. If applicable please provide your order details, the reason for the return, and any relevant information or photos regarding the issue.
2.2. Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return confirmation and further instructions for the return shipment.
2.3. Shipping: You are responsible for shipping the product back to us, using a traceable and insured shipping method. We recommend retaining the shipping receipt and tracking number until the return is processed.
2.4. Condition: Upon receipt of the returned product, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. If the item is deemed ineligible for return, it will be shipped back to you, and you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Shipping Liabilities:
3.1. Damaged or Lost in Transit: Vortex Metal Fabrication takes utmost care in packaging and shipping our products. However, we understand that unforeseen incidents may occur during transit. If your product arrives damaged or gets lost in transit, please contact our customer support immediately. We do everything we can to ensure quality products that are verified by our quality assurance team. However once it enters the possession of a third party shipping contractor we cannot be held liable for any damage that is sustained in transit.
Refunds and Processing:
4.1. Refund Method: Refunds for eligible returns will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 30 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution’s policies. However we typically do everything we can to initiate refunds as quickly as possible.
4.2. Exchanges: If you opt for an exchange, the new product will be shipped after we receive and process your return. Any price difference between the returned product and the replacement will be handled according to our pricing policies.
Cancellation Requests:
5.1. Eligibility: You may request to cancel your order before production has started. If production has started and is partway you will be responsible for payment at the amount of product that has been fabricated. Please contact our customer support team as soon as possible to check the order status and request cancellation.
5.2. Shipped Orders: If you cancel your order after it has been shipped and decline the shipment, you will be responsible for all freight and crating charges, plus a 20% restocking fee. In addition, if you ordered fabricated and/or special order items, you will be responsible for the full price of those items.
5.3. Refunds for Canceled Orders: If your order is successfully canceled before shipment and production starts, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 30 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution’s policies. However we typically do everything we can to initiate refunds as quickly as possible.
